Beverly Rice
As soon as Beverly was old enough to hold onto her own fishing rod, she was hooked onto the sport of fishing. Beverly participates in various fishing projects and events throughout the Oakanagan and runs the Shuswap Fishing Derby which takes place twice a year and is a catch and release only derby.
Tanya Botrokoff
Growing up in Prince George BC, Tanya’s father taught her how to fish from the young age of 6 years old. Frequenting Lakes in the Caribou, she had caught her fair share of rainbow trout. Tanya’s most memorable fishing trip was to Kitimat BC, with her husband, where she landed a 40lb Chinook Salmon.
Dawn-Marie Peterzen
Fishing and hunting have become a way of life for Dawn and her husband, who reside in Kitimat, BC. They harvest everything they need from the sea and land and have been striving to learn all they can about the sport for the past 6 years. Sharing their knowledge with many of their close friends brings them both much joy and memorable moments. Dawn’s passion for cooking has lead her onto a path of culinary arts as a red seal chef and you can find many of her amazing fish recipes shared on our social media pages.
